The Lace Factory, Connecticut Wedding Photography | Amanda + Nick

I am beyond excited to share this gorgeous wedding that was oozing with character and charm!! Amanda and Nick asked all of their New York City friends and family to travel up to a quaint town in CT for their destination wedding and what a stunning event it was!

We arrived at the cutest Inn that is located in the center of town where many guests were staying and where Amanda and Nick were getting ready. Buses loaded up and took everyone to the Essex Train station. In lieu of a formal bridal party, they incorporated their closest friends and family into the ceremony by having them set lanterns down along the aisle prior to the bride and groom walking down. Nick and Amanda exchanged the sweetest, personal, hand-written vows, which gave everyone a special insight into their loving and meaningful relationship.

After Nick and Amanda tied the knot, they put their guests on a train ride to the reception. The guests enjoyed a scenic 30+ min train ride through this area of Connecticut, arriving at the venue for a glorious outdoor cocktail hour! This moment was by far one of the coolest things I have seen at a wedding…

The reception was held in an old Lace Factory with windows on all sides, industrial charm, and vintage touches. The long tables where guests shared a family style meal were decorated with eclectic antiques and stunning muted florals! The ladies of KLW Designs did an amazing job and executed Amanda’s vision beautifully. Speaking of Amanda, she was one of those brides who was stunning in every way and even though each detail was crafted meticulously by her, she was carefree on the day! Nick looked so dapper in his custom suit and wanted to be take care of everyone else even though it was his big day! Both Amanda and Nick are incredibly selfless and giving.
