I wish there were more stars (then 5) that I could give Becka because she was the absolute best and most perfect photographer that I could have picked! I found Becka on The Knot and contacted her to see if she was available on my wedding date and she was so we set up some time to FaceTime and make sure that we would be a good fit because your photographer is definitely someone that you want to be comfortable with. Becka was great throughout the whole process, she offered to help wherever she possible could and helped answer some questions that I had about the whole wedding planning process. We met Becka for the first time at our engagement session with our dog and love how our pictures came out, the lighting was perfect, the shots were perfect and best of all we had the best time together. Fast forward to our wedding, Becka arrived right on time to my hotel, we had fun getting ready and her assistant that day was so talented, nice, and fun to work with! Becka worked the entire time, she did not put her camera down once so I know she captured all of the most special moments for my fiancé and I! While we were on our honeymoon, Becka shared a few sneak peeks from our wedding and we’re absolutely obsessed. Her style is very natural and all about the moment, which was so important for us. We did not want pictures that were too edited, we wanted our photographer to capture our raw emotions and that is exactly what Becka did. Cannot recommend her enough, she was THE BEST!

Finding the perfect photographer was hard! My fiance/now husband and I searched for so long to find a photographer who had the talent to capture the feeling of our wedding day and also highlight who we were as people…individually and as a couple. We wanted the photos to tell the story of our wedding day and our relationship…less about the conventional ‘posed shots’ and more about the ‘moment shots’. When I finally came across Becka’s website, I immediately fell in love with her style. She truly has an eye for capturing the natural joy and love in her couples.

My conversation with Becka over the phone for the first time was like having a conversation with an old friend. If I had to guess, I imagine that having a friendship with Becka from the start is how most brides feel when working with her. Putting my trust in someone to capture our day was a big deal for me and Becka put me right at ease. Becka listened to all my visions and details for the day and asked all the right questions. We talked extensively about the photography style that I preferred and Becka was very honest about insuring that her style matched the style of her brides. She was very detail orientated when it came time for the photography planing for our day which helped tremendously the day of and keeping our timelines on track.

On our wedding day, Becka was just like that old friend from our phone calls. She was not only taking photos, but Becka was also making sure my dress was just right, my lipstick was on and that I was calm and enjoying myself.

Fast forward to the day we received our wedding photos from Becka and wow – just WOW! We are still blown away with how beautiful they turned out. She absolutely captured our day beautifully and we could not be happier! Each person we share our photos with compliments on how gorgeous they are and what an amazing photographer Becka is and we could not agree more. Working with Becka was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding!

Becka is wonderful! Becka was amazing to work with and would recommend her in a heart beat. Her photos alone can probably sell you- but let me just tell you, Becka makes your actual wedding day and all the planning better as well! She commands the show and is fun to be around. She gave us recommendations before for our DJ who absolutely killed it and helped us layout our timeline for the day. Our photos didn’t feel like they took up our whole day, she made it fun but quick so we could go on with having fun on our wedding day talking and dancing with all our loved ones. I even saw her helping serve food at one point so we could keep on schedule for our timeline when the food was a little backed up. She was super invested in our day and wanted to capture us as we were and that was super special and important to us. It was never too posed. Selecting a photographer was one of the most time consuming decisions of my wedding planning process. I must have researched for a couple of months, and even met with a few, before I finally came across Becka through a mutual friend on facebook. Upon talking with Becka I knew right away she would be our wedding photographer. It felt like I was talking to a friend, and that’s the type of person I wanted to be around my whole wedding day! The wedding day she was enthusiastic, calming, and most importantly captured the most stunning wedding photos. She is extremely talented with natural light photography. Our wedding venue, Bonnet Island Estate, has a lot of outdoor grounds and water, and she captured the scenes beautifully. I think it is extremely important to find a photographer whose style you like, but perhaps more importantly, someone that you are comfortable with and feel you can be yourself around in order to produce beautiful photos. Becka did my wedding a few weeks ago and was amazing. She captured every detail I could have wanted and more. Becka also came up with fun ideas for the pictures that I would have never thought of. Not only did she do an amazing job but she was also very sweet and helpful throughout the whole day. She had a quick timeline together of the day and made sure we kept on time. When the wedding planner we had been working with sent someone else that day, Becka ran the show. She helped not only with the photos but also cutting the cake and so much more. She felt more like a best friend by your side making sure that everything went better than you could have dreamed of. By the time we returned from our honeymoon we had the pictures in hand. They really captured the day, and I’ve heard from my aunts and others that nothing looked staged. Becka is so talented and such a joy to work with! She is extremely warm and personable and makes you feel instantly comfortable around her (which is helpful since it’s not exactly comfortable to pose for long periods of time and look natural)! She made the process fun which my husband and I greatly appreciated, and it’s instantly obvious how passionate she is about her work. I was shocked when we first started researching wedding photographers – I had no idea how pricey they can be! When I found Becka’s blog, I immediately fell in love with her style and use of natural light and was shocked to find out that she was actually affordable compared to some of the other photographers I had reached out to. After our initial phone conversation, I was confident that she would be great to work with. We were pretty adamant that we didn’t want engagement photos (even though they came with our package). Becka convinced me that not only would it be good practice for the wedding day but that it would also be good for us to get to know each other since you spend so much time together on your wedding day. She was SO right, and I was so excited to see her again on our wedding day as if we were old friends! Our pictures are stunning and she captured our intimate (and silly!) moments so beautifully. We absolutely loved Becka/Pill Photography! Becka has such a great personality that she manages to open you up in front of a camera and produce a wonderful shot. Her photos are bright, contemporary and natural, which is exactly what we were looking for. Becka shot our engagement shoot in center city Philadelphia and our wedding in late August 2014 at Pomme in Radnor, PA. We are so happy we got a mix of city shots and nature shots for our events. We received our wedding photos about three weeks after our wedding, which was much quicker than we had thought and we were pleasantly surprised (We were still on our honeymoon)! They were so lovely that we felt like we were reliving the night when we went through them. There are so many moments that you fly through that night, but they are captured by Becka and it’s such a treasure to have them in print! As the bride, it was also amazing to have Becka by my side on the day of our wedding. We had planned much of our wedding by ourselves and it was very stressful even the day of, but Becka was such a sweetheart and made the whole event run more smoothly and calmly. Becka Pillmore is amazing!! If I had a million weddings I’d have her photograph them all! The photos are beautiful. The lighting, the colors, it’s all perfect. I don’t know what kind of editing or enhancements were used because everyone looks amazing and yet completely natural. Becka photographed behind the scenes. During the ceremony and the reception, we didn’t even know she was there. She captured many beautiful candid moments. It was nice too because you don’t want to have a photographer standing front and center at the aisle. I don’t know how she did it, but we have gorgeous shots of the ceremony, nonetheless. All the shots you want, the ones you see on Pinterest and pin. :) When we photographed with the families and bridal party, she corralled us all (and there were many) into the frame. She found some great spots that really represented the feel we wanted (historic Philadelphia). She was patient and friendly. All of our friends and family loved her. Looking back on the shots, we got great ones with everyone in the frame looking good. Becka was a pleasure to work with. I kept turning to her for how I looked: “Is there back fat showing? Should I suck in? Does my hair look okay? Do I need more lipstick?” She was honest and helpful and ultimately, took care of all the concerns I had. I felt so comfortable with her the moment I met her. She is so sweet and personable. That’s really important because you want your photos to be perfect and you don’t want to feel uncomfortable or judged telling your photographer body concerns you may have, or photos you insist on. Because when the day comes…you may have some bridezilla moments (even when that’s not your personality). These pictures will last lifetimes after all, and you want them perfect. Becka made our photos perfect. We could not be happier. Also, she got our photos to us in maybe 3 weeks!! That’s awesome turnaround. So many other photographers take 6 weeks. We got back from our honeymoon and had hundreds of beautiful wedding photos waiting for us. There was an accompanying slideshow with music which was just lovely to watch. We appreciated it.

We cannot say enough how awesome it was to have Pill Photography shoot our special day. Photography was the main thing that my husband and I wanted to prioritize so it was not easy finding someone who “lived up” to our hopes for the day! It was important to us that who we are was reflected in our photos. We wanted someone who would go with the flow, captured shots that no one else sees, had a sense of adventure, and who was about excited for our wedding as we were. We are so pleased to have had Pill Photography shoot our wedding! Becka and Justin traveled to sunny Florida for the event and were SO prepared that it made the entire process completely painless. Though they were unfamiliar with the area, they rocked it and were able to work with our timeline and city scenes like Old Tampa Pros.They came down a day early and scoped the prime photo spots in the area to guarantee the perfect shots! Becka was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning – always patiently helping and answering emails and calls. The best part was how comfortable she made my groom and I feel, something that definitely showed in the pictures. We’ve received nothing but compliments on our photographs and her artistic eye! I have absolutely nothing but praise and positive comments for my photographer, Rebekah Pillmore. I searched extensively for a photographer, and it seemed that all of the photographers that had great portfolios were also extremely overpriced. Until I found Rebekah’s website! Her pictures are absolutely gorgeous – she uses tons of natural light and her pictures did not seem “pose-y”. I contacted her and she responded very quickly. She is fun, knowledgable, and very invested in her work. She was flexible and designed a package for us that fit our budget. On the day of our wedding, Rebekah and her husband arrived right on schedule. We got along instantly, which is important for taking photos! She had fabulous ideas for photos, and included locations that my husband and I had requested. My husband isn’t the biggest fan of picture-taking, but Rebekah and Justin made it so much fun that he really enjoyed himself. During our reception, Rebekah set up a laptop in the bar area so that guests could see a slideshow of the photos we took that afternoon. I could not be more pleased with Rebekah and her work. Rebekah took both my engagement and wedding photos, and her work just took my breath away.
Upon meeting Rebekah, it was easy to tell she loves what she does. She was friendly, easy-going, and funny, and she was able to understand our (myself and my fiance’s) style, even though we couldn’t really explain it.
During our engagement photos, my fiance and I started off feeling a little awkward, as if we had a paparazzo following us around, but Rebekah was able to get us to relax, have fun, and experiment with some different pose ideas, and they all turned out to be amazing pictures.
Throughout the wedding planning process, she stayed in touch with me and helped me plan the flow of my wedding-day pictures, which really took the stress off of me. By the time the wedding actually came around, pictures were the last thing on my mind, which is exactly how it should be.
The day of the wedding, Rebekah was everything you would want your wedding photographer to be. She was super excited to be there, but was very efficient, which kept me calm. During the ceremony and reception, she was unobtrusive, and yet she still captured every moment perfectly. We didn’t have a whole lot of time between our wedding and reception, but Rebekah was able to bang out all our pictures (without me ever feeling rushed!), and she still managed to make our outdoor pictures look amazing, even though our wedding day was overcast, a little rainy, and windy!
For both our engagement and wedding photos, Rebekah was able to find perfect photo ops in every location, some with not a whole lot to offer, and each picture turned out amazing. She is creative, with a truly artistic eye, and I felt confident enough in her abilities to let her have free reign with our pictures. And, like I said above, I could not be more pleased with her. I’d give her 10 stars if I could!!!
