ABOUT BECKA PILLMORE

Hey Y’all! I love Jesus, my husband + son (Gideon who is seven), my twins (Ruby+Judah who are almost 3 years old), my whole family, beautiful light, decorating my home, being a girl and many more things. My husband and I enjoy traveling and experiencing the beautiful hidden spaces this world has to offer.

Being a wedding photographer requires way more than a creative eye and the ability to capture wedding day memories. It requires a deep understanding of what the wedding day is about- love. Let’s be honest though, the day is WAY more than a day just to celebrate your love; its about family members that you haven’t seen in years, the details you stayed up late planning, the difficult moments of missing someone who is no longer here, about the best man’s speech you forgot to proofread, the ring bearer that couldn’t help licking the cake, and so so much more. I want to help you remember those moments and even capture some you will miss LIVE on the Big Day!

I feel deeply for all of my couples and often find myself tearing up as I capture the first dance (slightly embarrassing, but very true!). To peek more into my life, check out my Instagram. Here is the quick version of my story by the states that I have lived in:

TEXAS

– Born and raised in Grapevine, TX, I am the youngest of 5 kids and have 16 sweet nieces and nephews. When we all come together for holidays, it is super crazy but by far my favorite memories!

OKLAHOMA

– Lived in Shawnee, OK for 4 years while in college, graduating with a Marketing & Graphic Design degree. I talk to my girlfriends from college everyday still and know I will have them for a lifetime.

TENNESSEE

– Worked as a graphic designer in the great city of Nashville, TN at a church downtown. While living in Tennessee with three of my college friends, I met a Yankee boy who was just passing through town. Eleven months later we were married…

PENNSYLVANIA

– Here is where I started my photography business and grew as an artist. Lots of great adventures photographing weddings from New York City to DC and all over the country. We had a babe in Dec 2015 and cannot explain the love and excitement sweet Gideon has brought into our life. Being a mama is the greatest gift and my highest priority.

ARKANSAS

– Currently, my good-looking husband (Justin) and I are holding down a fort in Bentonville, Arkansas. We moved here in September 2018 to be close to family! We love this town and Northwest Arkansas.
